Community Services

Episcopal Senior Communities’ community programs improve the lives of more than 12,000 low-income and isolated seniors each year in programs and services from Monterey to Sonoma Counties.

These programs include:

Senior Outreach ~ Senior Resource Directors in seven counties prevent and reduce social isolation through ESC programs and partnerships with other agencies.

Senior Center Without Walls ~ Addresses the physical and emotional isolation of frail, homebound seniors by providing more than 60 weekly activities, classes, and support groups through free telephone conference calls.

Senior Produce Markets ~ Provide fresh fruit and vegetables as well as community on a weekly basis in over 20 different markets at senior centers, affordable housing communities, and churches throughout Northern California.

ElderWISE ~ Matches trained volunteers with those who are often hardest to reach–at-risk, isolated seniors. Volunteers provide friendly visits to senior clients in their own homes.

Homeshare Program ~ Provides an alternative, affordable way of meeting housing needs with numerous benefits to renters and homeowners alike.

Senior Resources @ Home ~ Provides the care needed to keep Sonoma County seniors at home while supporting their health, safety, and quality of life.

Affordable Housing Communities ~ Episcopal Senior Communities stands out in its commitment and funding to provide activities, health and wellness programs, and nutritional programs to serve the whole individual in its four affordable housing communities.
